Brand / Motion Systems / AI
Six years at Apply Digital, growing from motion designer to leading a team across a company that scaled from local to global. Client work, BD pitches, global production & AI adoption.
Apply Digital grew from just over 100 people to 750 across six years, through three acquisitions. As part of the marketing team, we saw every milestone from the inside — and were the first to bring it to the world.
That team ran lean and delivered above expectation, consistently. The content we produced hit KPIs across every stage of growth. Not by doing more — by building smarter systems, moving fast and knowing what mattered.
1. Video Production — Client Work, Pitches & Internal Content
End-to-end video production across every context — advertising material, explainers and concept videos for clients including Kraft Heinz, Cain, Pure Insurance, Arcteryc, Lululemon & the NFL; fast-turnaround BD pitch videos delivered in 2-4 days; enterprise client case studies; and a monthly internal newsletter. Working with strategists and writers to take ideas from brief to screen, consistently and at pace.
2. Motion Design System
Built a templated motion asset library — a design system for animation. Cut production time by 40% across webinars, social, hiring posts, pitch videos and podcast clips.
3. AI Tooling & Adoption
Early adopter of AI across the motion workflow. Implemented ElevenLabs for voiceovers — replacing studio costs and cutting iteration time to 1/5. Represented the marketing team on Apply Digital's AI adoption task force, driving knowledge sharing across disciplines.
4. Brand Building — Digital & Photography
Point person for motion on the Apply Digital website. Built the Motion & Photography section of the interactive brand guide. Planned and creative directed global photoshoots across four offices — Vancouver, Toronto, Santiago & London — building a people library used company-wide.
5. Building the Motion Team
Started Apply Digital's first motion design team. Built efficient workflows across regions and languages, growing to support a global company with a small, high-output team.
