Lie detector - Amazon
The screens inside a biometric lie detector, built for Amazon's Sneaky Pete Prime Video launch. Motion graphics that had to work whether you were nervous or not.
The lie detector wasn't a prop. It read your heart rate, skin temperature &
perspiration and decided, in real time, whether you were telling the truth.
My job was the two screens inside it. Every state the machine could enter — calibration, reading, verdict - had to feel credible. Clinical enough to be believable. Tense enough to match what the sensors were actually doing to people.
Sneaky Pete is a show about a con artist who lives inside a lie. The activation didn't market that premise. It put you inside it. The screens were what made the machine feel real not decorative, functional. Motion that had to hold up when someone's pulse was spiking.
