Poetry is already complete. The challenge wasn't to illustrate it. It was to move alongside it without getting in the way.

As the lead motion designer & animator, I built a 90-minute visual experience from Rupi's own source material: original illustrations, watercolour textures & family photographs. Each element carried weight. The work was in honouring that. Keeping motion intimate rather than decorative, letting the words breathe.

The result ran live behind Rupi across her entire American tour. Not a backdrop. A second voice.
